Bohol, Day 5, Thursday. Tita Inday, my cousin Josef, and his wife May arrived in Bohol at around 9:30 AM. Mama and Papa went to the airport to fetch them. After unloading their bags, we immediately went to Bohol Bee Farm in Panglao where we took the Bee Tour with our guide, Aljien. Mama said food at Bohol Bee Farm’s restaurant wasn’t that outstanding, so we ended up driving back to Tagbilaran and ate at Mang Inasal (which reminds me, I haven’t eaten at an authentic Boholano restaurant during the duration of my stay there). After which, we visited St. Joseph Cathedral, Blood Compact (again), Baclayon Church (again), and Church of San Pedro Apostol in Loboc.
Zee was asleep in the car when they decided to visit Lola Inday, my mom’s aunt, whose house fronted the church in Loboc. Also saw a glimpse of Lolo Pepe’s (my mom’s dad) house: it still is somehow intact, but the bottom part has been transformed into a bakery. Beside Lolo’s house was a cantina called Serapio’s, built on the property of (and named after) Papa’s relative from the Dompor side.
We then went home to freshen up before going to Auntie Gigi’s house for dinner. The Monungolhs (my grandma and her relatives) then talked about the property settlement while the “younger ones” went to do some other activity… like watch American Idol. Zee slept before they finished their discussion. That was already past 10 PM. Pretty much a long and eventful day for all of us.
